Teens injured in Shawnee neighborhood shooting, police say

An 18-year-old and a 19-year-old were found shot Wednesday night in Louisville.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two teens are injured after a shooting Wednesday night in Louisville's Shawnee neighborhood.

At about 11:45 p.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a shooting in the 4100 block of Herman Street, according to an LMPD news release.

Officers on scene found an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old man who had both been shot. They were taken to UofL Hospital where officials say they are expected to survive.

LMPD is currently investigating the shooting. There are currently no known suspects.
