LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed Monday night in Louisville's Shively neighborhood.
At about 11:50 p.m., Shively Police Department responded to the 1800 block of Appleton Lane on a report of a man in his early 20's suffering from a gunshot wound, according to an SPD news release.
The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he died shortly after.
