Clear, cold night ahead | WHAS11 WEATHER IMPACT FORECAST

A clear, rather cold night awaits. Low temperatures will take a tumble well into the middle to upper 20s. We will turn mostly cloudy and a bit warmer tomorrow!

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Cooler than normal temperatures stick around for the remainder of the late afternoon and early evening with a mostly clear sky. Expect low temperatures to take a dip into the middle to upper 20s tonight. Friday will start off cold but we will manage to warm well into the 40s for the afternoon. A lot more clouds will move in Friday and that will set the stage for an at times rainy weekend.

Temperatures will dive well into the mid to upper 20s into Friday morning.

A series of low pressure centers will drift through the will bring rain from essentially Saturday afternoon through all day Sunday and some of Monday. Just some good old rain showers are in the forecast. Luckily, no thunderstorms or severe weather! Weekend temperatures will rise into the 50s. Sunday will likely be the wettest day of that stretch.

A lot more clouds and chances for rainfall arrive late in the day Saturday and into Saturday night.

Drier air will move in late Monday and that will bring in sunshine all day Tuesday. One more shot of light rain showers arrives Wednesday before we end next week sunny and seasonable.

TOMORROW: Increasing clouds through the day. High: 46°. Wind: E 5-10 mph.

SATURDAY: Partly to mostly cloudy with late day rain showers. High: 52°. Wind: SE 5-15 mph.
