New event brings live music, food, vendors to downtown Louisville through November

Enjoy live music, food trucks, beer and special cocktails in the heart of downtown Louisville while you shop at local markets.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A new music and market series is coming to the heart of downtown Louisville this spring.

Starting in April, you can enjoy live music, food trucks, beer and specialty cocktails while you shop around from local vendors at "Downtown Happy Hour".

The series will take place at the Fourth Street Plaza, near the corner of South Fourth Street and Jefferson Street, on select Thursdays and Fridays through November.

  • May 23
  • June 6
  • July 11
  • August 23-24
  • September 12
  • October 10
  • November 8

According to the Louisville Downtown Partnership (LDP), a wide array of musical talents from various genres will be featured during the music series.

"Downtown Happy Hour is all about bringing people together and celebrating the end of a day and each other," Rebecca Fleischaker, executive director of LDP, said. "We wanted to active a downtown space with fun and merriment and provide an opportunity to listen to great music and shop local."
