LMPD arrests woman for several bomb threats in Louisville

LMPD said last Friday on April 19, threats were called into the Broadway Kroger, Louisville Zoo, 4th Street Live! and Central High School.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police's Homeland Security Unit has arrested a woman on Tuesday for several bomb threats that happened this month, including at the zoo.

Casandra Muckle, 49, is charged with multiple counts of terroristic threatening.

LMPD said last Friday on April 19, threats were called in to the Broadway Kroger, Louisville Zoo, 4th Street Live! and Central High School.

In a statement on social media, LMPD said the threats led to evacuations and created panic in the community.

It also caused at least one Kentucky school district to cancel field trips to the Louisville Zoo that day.
