Suspect arrested for bomb threat at Reynolds Consumer Products in Parkland

Carmen White, 38, has been charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) have arrested a woman following an investigation into a bomb threat in the Parkland neighborhood Tuesday morning.

Carmen White, 38, has been charged with second-degree terroristic threatening after an investigation by LMPD's Homeland Security Unit.

Police said the threat was reported at Reynolds Consumer Products on Hale Avenue around 8 a.m.

Authorities advised residents to avoid the area by altering their morning commute as a precaution.

LMPD’s Bomb Technicians and dog were on the scene investigating, but found nothing. 

The department's Bomb Squad gave the "all clear" around 10:45 a.m., officials said.
