LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — Members of the Louisville Metro Police Department see unusual and crazy things on the job pretty often.

But this run was extra special.

According to a Facebook post by LMPD, officers received a call about a pair of goats that were walking along Interstate 265. Police arrived on the scene and spent the next 20 minutes corralling the "goat-couple" to safety.

This plan included using BBQ Fritos to coax the goats into the LMPD cruiser.

Officers contacted the owner and the goats were safely "ubered" home.

"They agreeeeeeed that walking on the interstate was a baaaaaad idea," LMPD said in the post. They also thanked Pepsi for the creation of those Fritos chips!

In traditional LMPD fashion, they concluded the post with a slew of their famous hashtags. Some of our favorites include #GoatLivesMatter, #WeGoatYourBack, and #ThesePunsAreBaaaaaaad.

In the comments, one of the officers posted a video of himself in the cruiser with the goats. Using a Snapchat filter, he attempts to speak the goats' language.

We wonder if they're distant relatives of Houdini, the beloved I-65 goat! Regardless, we're just happy that the goats are happy and safe back at home!
