LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A person is hospitalized after a carjacking in Hurstbourne Acres Thursday night.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) were dispatched to the 1900 block of Wesley Avenue on a report of a carjacking around 9:30 p.m.

Officers said a couple was trying to sell a car on Facebook Marketplace.

When the suspect came to pick up the car, they allegedly tried to drive off without paying. In order to stop the suspect, police said one of the victims grabbed onto the vehicle, and was dragged several feet.

They were taken to UofL Hospital where they are expected to live.

The investigation is ongoing.
