LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after a crash involving a moped Sunday night, according to a release from Louisville Metro Police.
Dwight Mitchell with LMPD said the crash happened on Bardstown Road at Bannon Crossing Drive around 10 p.m. on July 5.
According to the preliminary investigation, the man was on a moped heading north on Bardstown Road when he was hit from behind by a red Corvette.
The driver of the moped was taken to the hospital where he later died.
The LMPD Traffic Unit is investigating this incident. Police did not say if any charges were expected.
