Police: 2 hospitalized following Algonquin shooting

Police said a man and woman were shot in the 2000 block of Cypress Street early Sunday.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police are investigating a shooting that left two injured in the Algonquin neighborhood early Sunday.

Metro Police Second Division officers responded to the 2000 block of Cypress Street around 2 a.m. where they located a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were taken to UofL Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police do not have any suspects.

The LMPD Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
