LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman is dead after a shooting in the Okolona neighborhood early Tuesday morning, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Dwight Mitchell with LMPD said officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 8800 block of Woodpointe Boulevard around 2 a.m. on July 7. When they arrived, they found a woman who had been shot.
The woman died at the hospital. The identity of the woman has not been released.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating this incident. They do not currently have any suspects.
