LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – Police have arrested a woman after officers said she left a 5-month-old in a hot car.
Officers were called to a laundromat on South 26th Street on Aug. 17 after people saw the baby sweating in the back seat.
Witnesses told police Stephanie Harrison had been inside the laundromat for two hours doing her laundry.
After spending time in the air conditioning, the child was still dehydrated and was taken to the hospital.
Harrison is charged with wanton endangerment and endangering the welfare of a minor.
