Police investigating after man found stabbed in Louisville parking lot

A man is in the hospital with serious injuries after he was stabbed Tuesday morning.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is in the hospital after he was stabbed Tuesday morning in Louisville's Newburg neighborhood.

Just past midnight, Louisville Metro police responded to a stabbing in the 3200 block of Twin Oak Lane, according to an LMPD news release.

Officers on scene found a man outside of the location the report came from. He was in the parking lot suffering from stab wounds.

Officers rendered first aid until EMS could arrive. Once on scene, EMS transported the victim to UofL Hospital. Officials say though his injuries appear to be serious, he is expected to survive.

LMPD is handling this investigation. There are currently no known suspects.
