LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville police are investigating after a man was found dead in the Park Hill neighborhood. Investigators say they believe he was shot about six blocks away.
At about 10:30 a.m., Louisville Metro police responded to a report of a shooting at 26th Street and Wilson Avenue, an LMPD news release said.
Officers found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
Investigators believe the shooting happened in the 1700 block of Cypress Street. All parties have been accounted for, authorities say.
The LMPD Homicide Unit is investigating.
