Here's what roads are closed for the 2nd leg of the Triple Crown of Running

Headed downtown Saturday? Here's what you need to know to navigate the streets amid road closures.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The second leg of the Louisville Triple Crown of Running takes place on Saturday, March 16, and Metro Police have announced road closures.

The 10K race is scheduled to start at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16th, at Louisville Slugger Field in downtown Louisville.  

Motorists who frequent downtown Louisville should be prepared for delays as a cluster of streets are expected to be closed from 4 a.m. to noon.

Street closures from 4 a.m. - Noon

  • Main Street from Hancock Street to Floyd Street
  • Preston Street from Main Street to Witherspoon Street
  • Washington Street from Floyd Street to Preston Street

Street closures from 7 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.

  • Main Street from Floyd Street to 5th Street
  • 5th Street from Main Street to Chestnut Street
  • Chestnut Street from 5th Street to 7th Street
  • 7th Street from Chestnut Street to Magazine Street
  • Magazine Street from 7th Street to 8th Street
  • 8th Street from Magazine Street to Liberty Street
  • Liberty Street from 8th Street to 5th Street
  • Market Street from 5th Street to 8th Street
  • 8th Street from Market Street to Main Street
  • Main Street from 8th Street to Floyd Street
  • Floyd Street from Main Street to Washington Street
  • Witherspoon Street from Preston Street to Adams Street
  • Adams Street from Witherspoon Street to Quincy Street
