LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A major Louisville highway will have multiple lanes closed on Wednesday morning due to necessary emergency repairs.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is advising drivers of immediate closures of the right and center lanes of I-265 South.

Crews are performing repairs and partial depth pothole patching to the bridge deck over Brownsboro Road (KY 22).

Gene Snyder's lane closures are expected to begin at 9 a.m. and continue through 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

Drivers should adjust commute times, seek and alternate route or heed signage and use caution while traveling through the work zone, according to a KYTC press release.

The date and duration of these repairs may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
