"Every election is important," Jefferson County Clerk Bobbie Holsclaw said. "We aim to maximize community engagement and facilitate voter registration for as many people as possible."

First time voters, those with a change of address, or those wanting to change their political party can visit any of the Jefferson County Clerk's Office Motor Vehicle Branches and look for the "Voter Registration Blitz" table to complete a registration card and put it in a secure collection box at the table.

There will be information about the ways residents can vote including by mail; during in-person absentee (excused and no-excuse) voting; and at precinct locations on Primary Election Day.  You can also sign up to be an Election Officer.

If you can't visit any of the branches in person, or live outside of Jefferson County, you can register online by 4 p.m. on April 22. You can also mail-in your registration, just be sure the registration is postmarked April 22.
