CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — The YMCA in Clark County, Indiana has settled two cases with the victims of a Jeffersonville man convicted of child molestation.
Michael Begin was working at the YMCA as an elementary school teaching assistant when he molested 20 girls between the ages of three and eight. Begin pleaded guilty to the charges in April.
Attorney Larry Wilder, who represents the two victims along with another attorney, said he's pleased the young clients and their families can now experience closure. Details of the settlement are confidential.
Seven other lawsuits involved in the case are still pending.
