LOUISVILLE, Ky. — UPDATE: Police said Maurice Reed was found safe around 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11.

Authorities are searching for a Louisville man who hasn't been seen in nearly a week.
Maurice Reed, 23, was last seen in the 8300 block of Huntsman Trail -- in the Fern Creek area -- on Jan. 3, 2024.
On Monday, Louisville Metro Police said Reed's family is worried for his mental and physical well-being as he suffers from mental health issues.
LMPD has since issued an Operation Return Home in an effort to bring Reed home safely.
Police describe Reed as being 5'6" and 110lbs. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
