Louisville's toll bridges to have overnight lane closures for equipment maintenance

The overnight closures will take place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Those crossing the Ohio River on any of the toll bridges connecting Louisville to southern Indiana should expect some delays at night over the next few days. 

According to a news release, multiple bridges will have scheduled lane closures due to routine maintenance on RiverLink's toll equipment.

Drivers are advised to use caution, watch for signage and slow down in the work area. Officials said all ramps will remain open during the overnight closures.

Each closure will last from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following day.

Scheduled lane closures

Wednesday, Jan. 31 - Thursday, Feb. 1

  • Lewis and Clark Bridge: Both directions, alternating inside and outside lane and shoulder closures.

Friday, Feb. 2 - Monday, Feb. 5

  • Kennedy Bridge (I-65 South): Alternating inside and outside three lanes and shoulder.
  • Lincoln Bridge (I-65 North): Alternating inside and outside three lanes and shoulder.

Tuesday, Feb. 6

  • Court Avenue (Exit 0) in Indiana

The dates and duration of the closures may change, depending on inclement weather and other unforeseen circumstances, officials said.
