Cockpit voice recorder located in Indiana plane crash wreckage

NTSB spokesperson Eric Weiss confirmed to WHAS11 that the cockpit voice recorder was found.

CLARK CO., Ind. (WHAS11) – A cockpit voice recorder was located among the wreckage of the plane crash that killed three people in southern Indiana.

NTSB spokesperson Eric Weiss confirmed to WHAS11 that the cockpit voice recorder was found, and the jet did not have a flight data recorder. Both are called the black box.

The crash killed developer Wayne Estopinal, TEG Architects VP Sandra Johnson and pilot Andrew Davis.

A preliminary report from the NTSB is expected by the end of the week.
