LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after he was shot Wednesday afternoon at Norfolk Acres Park in Louisville.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) responded to a call of a shooting in the 4300 block of Coram Way around 3:30 p.m. That's near the Buechel neighborhood.

Police reports say 30-year-old Musengo Mutebutsi and the victim were involved in an argument causing Mutebutsi to pull out his gun and shot the victim one time in the upper chest.

When officers arrived at the scene, they said they found a man who had been shot. He received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Documents show Mutebutsi fled the scene and witnesses informed officers that he was at a nearby store. Police were able to obtain video and confirm Mutebutsi's identity through photos.

He was arrested and charged with murder after turning himself into LMPD on Friday.

Mutebutsi is currently being held at Metro Corrections on a $250,000 bond.

LMPD's Homicide Unit is leading this investigation.
