Coroner identifies man fatally shot inside corner store in Parkland neighborhood

Officers found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds Tuesday afternoon inside a corner store.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A man is dead after he was found by Louisville police Tuesday afternoon in a corner store in the Parkland neighborhood. He reportedly was shot multiple times.

Just past noon, Louisville Metro Police responded to a shooting in the 3300 block of Greenwood Avenue, according to an LMPD news release.

Officers found a man, later identified as 35-year-old Aaron Nolan, inside the 2 Brothers Market Plus corner store. He had been shot multiple times, officials said. Police administered first aid but he died on the scene.

There are currently no suspects. Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call LMPD's anonymous tip line at (502) 574-5673 or utilize LMPD's Crime Tip Portal online.
