LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest in a deadly shooting that happened in Valley Station in February.
Police arrested Richard Goodman on Wednesday for the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Kylee Miller.
Police had previously said they found her during a wellness check on Feb. 18. They were called to the 6300 block of Sydney Renee Way just before 11 p.m. that day.
According to court documents, Goodman exchanged a phone call with an incarcerated person at the Louisville Metro Department of Corrections and discussed the murder with them.
Police said that person knew details about the crime that had not been made public.
Goodman is charged with murder and possession of a handgun by a convicted person.
He is expected in court Thursday morning.
