15 people arrested during peaceful 'free Palestine' protest in Louisville

LMPD arrested 15 people participating in a protest calling for ceasefire in Gaza.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro police arrested 15 people Friday morning who were calling for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Members of the Louisville Ceasefire Coalition protested in front of RTX/Raytheon on Strawberry Lane and BAE Systems on Southside and Rochester, both near the Louisville Airport.

Protest organizers said the demonstration was meant to block access to Louisville arms manufacturers to protest the bombings in Gaza, protesting the ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza, and the part played by U.S. arms manufacturers.
