LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The owner of Chef Shaq Kitchen, Shaquan McDonald, announced on his Facebook that he will be opening a second location right before Kentucky Derby 150.
The second location will be located at 2300 West Market Street in the Russell neighborhood. It's set to open May 1.
The local restaurant's menu has unique a burgers, wings and salads that will leave guests craving more.
In McDonald's post, he said:
"I'm grateful for the support from family and friends and hope to be talking about a third location this time next year. If not, that's okay too. I'm happy and blessed to have made it this far. Thank you all!"
The first location of Chef Shaq Kitchen opened in July of 2022 and is located on 612 S 5th Street.
