UFC Fight Night returning to Louisville for first time in over a decade; Here's how to get tickets

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Ultimate Fighting Championship is coming back to the 'Ville for the first time in over a decade. 

In an announcement made on the organization's Facebook on Wednesday, UFC Fight Night will return to Kentucky for the first time in 13 years to take over the KFC Yum! Center on June 8. 

The cards for the event have yet to be announced. 

According to the KFC Yum! Center's website, more information will be coming soon. 

Tickets are not available for purchase yet, but you can sign up for information about VIP packages here

Other UFC Fight Night's happening this year include:

  • Matheus Nicolau vs. Alex Perez in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 27
  • Derrick Lewis vs. Rodrigo Nasimento in St. Louis, Missouri on May 11
  • Edson Barboza vs. Lerone Murphy in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 18
  • Robert Whittaker vs. Khamzat Chimaev in Kingdom Arena, Riyadh Saudi Arabia on June 22

The first time the UFC came to Derby City was in March 2011 for UFC Live: Diego Sanchez vs. Martin Kampmann.
