There is a level 2/5 risk for severe storms west of Louisville. The risk is a step lower for those residing east of town. The main threat will be damaging winds with these approaching storms. We can't rule out an isolated spin-up tornado in the line of storms.

By this point, flooding may become a concern since the ground will already be well saturated. Heavy downpours are expected with the batch of storms. The threat will come to an end before sunrise Friday.
