LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police have arrested two people on Monday who police say admitted to hitting a pedestrian on Bardstown Road.
According to arrest reports, 19-year-old Gaige Guzman and a minor were leaving a hibachi restaurant on Bardstown Road, when they grabbed the tip jar and ran.
Police say a female employee tried to stop their car, and the suspects ran her over, causing life-threatening injuries.
After driving away, police say the suspects hit another car and tried to run.
Guzman is being held at Metro Corrections on a $25,000 cash bond.
