BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) - The family of missing Bardstown woman Crystal Rogers has filed for a court motion that seeks to prevent Rogers' ex-boyfriend Brooks Houck from leaving the state with their child.

The motion was filed Monday morning upon finding out that Houck's sister, who the court believed to be babysitting Houck and Rogers' son Eli, had moved out of the state and was no longer providing care for him.

In addition to that information, the motion claims that Houck has been attempting to sell his real estate holdings below market value.

Based on the learned information, Rogers' family believes that Houck is preparing to "flee the state with the child"

Since Rogers' disappearance in July of 2015, Houck's brother was released from the Bardstown Police Department and an employee of Houck was indicted on multiple counts of perjury.

Multiple unsuccessful searches have been carried out in the area, leading authorities to believe that she is dead.

Houck has been named the sole suspect in the case.
