The411 with Sherlene Shanklin: Did you know that WLOU is now on FM? They are on 104.7 on the FM dial. You can still hear them on 1350 AM. On Sunday, January 15th they will hold a free concert. It's 'WLOU's FM Launch Celebration'. National Gospel & Stellar award winning artist James Fortune & FIYA will be in concert at Canaan Christian Church. Sunday Best Season 2 participant Johnathan 'Jon-John' Johnson and Stellar-nominated Joe Leavell w/1 Purpose will also perform at the celebration.
The doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert will begin at 6:00 p.m.
WLOU is inviting everyone to come out and celebrate with them. They are requesting all WLOU alumni to be present for the big night.
WLOU is also nominated for a Stellar Award for programming for a medium size market and the winner will be announced on Sunday in Nashville, TN.
