LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Works and the City of Prospect have released their plan for debris removal.

On April 2, several tornadoes touched down around Kentucky and southern Indiana, leaving devastation in their wake. One of the hardest hit areas was Prospect.

Officials said debris for those who live in the 40059 area code will be collected for free on April 15.

You have to place it curbside, and open. They cannot be put in trash bags.

A veteran-led humanitarian organization, Team Rubicon, will help those who need assistance with vegetative debris removal and chainsaw operations.
