Families of Old National Bank mass shooting victims file new lawsuit against River City Firearms, gun accessory supplier and manufacturer

The lawsuit filed by the families of Tommy Elliott, Juliana Farmer and Deana Eckert is the second filed in the shooting.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The family members of three shooting victims have filed a new lawsuit against the store where the Old National Bank gunman bought the weapon, and a gun accessory supplier and manufacturer.

The lawsuit filed by the families of Tommy Elliott, Juliana Farmer and Deana Eckert is the second filed in the shooting.

It claims River City Firearms ignored red flags when Connor Sturgeon bought the AR-15 used in the shooting.

The lawsuit also accuses the manufacturers of failing to ensure the products they make aren't sold to people who pose a risk to themselves and others.
