Muskegon Honors Veterans at Frauenthal Center

Muskegon - Thousands gathered at Frauenthal Center in Muskegon Wednesday to honor our military veterans. But as they remembered the wars of the past, they also thought of the fight raging on right now in Fallujah. "People in Muskegon county care. They came out, heard about the event and said we are going to support our men and women in the armed services. They're not going to come home to what they don't deserve. They're going to come home to a heroes welcome," said Pastor Gordon Aiken, an organizer for the event.

He came to honor his brothers and sisters in battle who must track down insurgents. "Just pray for them. Just pray that they're there. That God keeps his hands on them in the situations they're going into because they're going into a lot of situations blind," said David. The event is on a dvd that will be sent to soldiers overseas.
