Churchill Downs to host job fair ahead of Kentucky Derby 150; what to know

The enormous job fair will be on Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Churchill Downs Racetrack and several of its partners are hosting a huge job fair to hire positions for the upcoming 150th running of the Kentucky Derby, as well as the nine-week Spring Meet.

The job fair, affectionately referred to as the "Staff Call To Post," will take place Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Churchill Downs Starting Gate Suites.

Along with Churchill Downs, Andy Frain Services, Kentucky Derby Museum, Levy Restaurants and Prichard Sports & Entertainment will be searching for candidates to fill various positions for Derby Week and the 43-day Spring Meet, which begins April 27 and ends June 30.

Available job positions include catering, cleaning and janitorial, concessions, food service, guest services and security.

Attendees on Saturday are asked to park in the White Lot, enter through the Executive Gate and proceed to the Starting Gate Suites Level 5.
