Mayor Craig Greenberg releases Kentucky Derby guest list

In an effort to continue transparency, Greenberg's office has released the list of leaders from sports organizations and various business leaders attending the Derby

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Mayor Craig Greenberg has released his official guest list for the Kentucky Derby.

Greenberg also released his guest list last year and said he wanted to continue his commitment to transparency.

“Our city shines during the Kentucky Derby and this unique event offers us an incredible opportunity to show the world Louisville is the best place to live, thrive and do business,” Mayor Greenberg. “This year’s guest list includes global leaders in areas ranging from economic development to tourism, infrastructure and more, and we are hopeful their experience helps fuel a longstanding relationship with our city.”

Greenberg’s office said each guest was offered and accepted an invitation for a plus one.

Here are the guests that are compiled of leaders from sports organizations and various businesses:

Mollie Marcoux Samaan, Commissioner of the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). LPGA is one of the longest-running women’s professional sports associations in the world and hosts globally known golf championships each year.

Thomas Heatherwick, Founder of Heatherwick Studio. Heatherwick Studio is a global, award-winning British design and architecture studio working with Louisville Metro Government on the transformative project for the Belvedere.

Peter McGuinness, CEO of Impossible Foods. Impossible Foods is a leader in delivering meat-free products, like the Impossible ™ Burger, to create a sustainable food system through delicious and nutritious alternatives.

Zack Malet, Senior Director, ESPN Business Development & Innovation. ESPN is the world’s leading multi-platform sports entertainment brand, featuring eight television networks across the U.S. and numerous social and digital platforms across all continents.

Craig Kessler, Chief Operating Officer of PGA of America. PGA of America is one of the world’s largest sports organizations, made up of more than 30,000 golf professionals, and the host of major golf events such as the PGA Championship.

The Louisville Metro Department of Economic Development are also hosting executives.

Condrad Daniels, President of HJI Supply Chain Solutions. HJI is a supply chain company, offering integrated solutions and material management services.

Didi Caldwell, President and CEO of Global Location Strategies. Global Location Strategies offers data-driven reports to help corporate decision-makers, economic development leaders and real estate brokers see through a forward-thinking strategy for success.

Michael Kiely, President of Global Government Affairs for UPS. UPS is a Fortune 500 company and one of the world’s largest shipping couriers.

Marc Bushala, CEO and Co-Founder of Heaven’s Door Spirits. Heaven’s Door Spirits offers handcrafted American Whiskey co-created with Bob Dylan and is opening a distillery in Pleasureville, Kentucky and a brand center in NuLu in 2024.
