LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Police said the intersection of S. Preston Street at Hill Street will be closed for several hours as they investigate a fatal crash.
MetroSafe said the call came in a little after 4 a.m. Alicia Smiley with LMPD said reports indicate a car left the road for unknown reasons and ended up rolling over onto railroad tracks. Smiley said the driver, the only person in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both road and railway traffic will remain closed.
