Convicted killer's ex-girlfriend reaches plea deal

The former girlfriend of convicted murderer Scott Pattison has reached a deal with prosecutors admitting she lied during a deposition.

WABASH, Ind. (AP) -- The former girlfriend of convicted murderer Scott Pattison has reached a deal with prosecutors admitting she lied during a deposition.

Stacy Henderson pleaded guilty Thursday to a misdemeanor charge of false informing. The deal calls for the 39-year-old Marion woman to receive a suspended jail sentence of 180 days, one year's probation and 60 days of home detention. Prosecutors also agreed to drop a felony charge of perjury.

The Marion Chronicle-Tribune says Wabash Circuit Judge Robert McCallen III will rule on the agreement Feb. 21.

Henderson's attorney, Don Gallaway, said she made one false statement but quickly retracted it.
Pattison is serving 60 years in prison after a jury convicted him in November of killing his wife, Lisa, in July 2009 by crushing her throat with a weight bar.
