Blues, Brews, and BBQ festival returns July 20-21

The event kicks off Friday at 4 p.m. and will run until 11 p.m. The fun will resume Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. and will last until 11 p.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) — The Blues, Brews, and BBQ Festival is back in town for its 21st anniversary this weekend.

Since 1998, the fest has brought the region's best barbecue, craft brews, and soul-satisfying blues music to the historic Water Tower Park in Louisville.

The event kicks off Friday at 4 p.m. and will run until 11 p.m. The fun will resume Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. and will last until 11 p.m.

Online tickets are no longer available, but you can get one-day tickets at the event for $15 plus tax. Kids 10 and under are admitted for free.

The event is weather permitting and with the threat of severe weather Friday afternoon, people are encouraged to check the event's Facebook page for any weather-related updates.
