Officials: 1 person hospitalized after 'heavy fire' in Shively trailer home

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One person is hospitalized after a trailer home caught fire in Shively. 

Around 12:29 p.m., Shively Fire and Louisville Fire Department (LFD) were dispatched to a possible fire in the 2700 block of Seventh St. 

Upon arrival, crews said they found "heavy fire" in a one-story trailer home. It caused extensive fire damage to the main fire building, and minimal damage to an adjacent property. 

One person was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Crews said the fire was controlled in 10 mins by approximately 25 firefighters. No other injuries were reported.
