Two men hospitalized after two separate overnight shootings in Louisville

Police say the shootings happened just 20 minutes apart but more than 3 miles away from each other.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Two men are in the hospital after two separate shootings Tuesday night in Louisville.

At 10:16 p.m., Louisville Metro police responded to St. Mary's Hospital after a man suffering from a gunshot wound was dropped off at the hospital by private means, according to an LMPD news release.

The man, who was shot in the hand, told police he was shot near Wyandotte Park. Officials say they believe he will survive his injury.
