Louisville man indicted, facing 10 years in prison for fentanyl and heroin distribution

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man was indicted recently on drug charges that could land him in federal prison for 10 or more years.

Garron Board, 39, was indicted April 17 on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, possession with intent to distribute heroin and fentanyl, and money laundering. The U.S. Attorneys Office, Department of Homeland Security and IRS made the announcement Tuesday.

According to the indictment, the alleged offenses occurred between March 2023 and April 2024.

Board made his first court appearance last week before a U.S. Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. The defendant was detained pending trial.

Board faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison if convicted. There is no parole in the federal system.
