After reviewing surveillance footage, LPD said Baker entered the facility past a locked gate and went into an area of dog kennels. Police said security footage shows multiple dogs running out of the kennel area.

Baker is then allegedly seen exiting the kennel area and walking around the parking lot trying to catch a particular white dog, which he catches and leaves the property with. He is also seen moving items around on the property.

Surveillance video also shows the released dogs fighting, which police believe led to the injuries and death reported.

A warrant was requested by LPD and issued on Tuesday afternoon.

Baker was taken into custody at his home by GCSO and LPD officers without incident.

He was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, cruelty to animals, acquiring control over an animal, acquiring control over an animal facility, and damage to animal in an animal facility.
