LOUISVILLE, Ky. — One person was shot near the Louisville waterfront Saturday night shortly after Thunder Over Louisville concluded.
According to Louisville Metro police in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, a juvenile male was shot in the stomach near the Purple Lot located on River Road directly under I-65. Large crowds gathered along the waterfront all day and night for the annual Thunder Over Louisville event.
River Road near downtown was closed following the shooting.
According to police, the incident was reported about 10:15 p.m. There are no known suspects.
The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
