ST MATTHEWS, Ky. — White Castle connoisseurs in St. Matthews are going to have to find a new location to get their fix.
The White Castle location on 4020 Shelbyville Rd. is closing permanently on Dec. 25, according to its marquee sign. The restaurant's last day open is on Christmas Eve.
But don't worry, there are still 16 other locations open across Louisville. The three locations that are closest to the Shelbyville Road location are 3705 Bardstown Rd., 2350 Greene Way, and 9493 Westport Rd.
The popular burger chain is known for its Original Sliders.
