LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Grammy-Award winning jazz vocalist Carmen Bradford has performed and recorded with legends like Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, James Brown and countless others. Now she's taking time to help build a better future for local youth. Carmen is the featured artist performing at this year's Jazz for Kids benefit at University of Louisville's School of Music, raising money for underprivileged kids and students in the Jazz Studies Program. The Jazz for Kids benefit concert featuring Carmen Bradford is Saturday, April 6, 2019 starting at 8 PM at UofL's Comstock Hall off West Brandeis Avenue. Tickets are $55 and can be purchased in advance by calling Penny Brodie at 502-852-6907. Tickets will also be available at the door but only if they don't sell out first.
