ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Police have arrested a man they say was involved in a murder in the 300 block of Diecks Drive on Sunday, Feb. 4.
Charles Roberson Jr. was arrested without incident just outside of Elizabethtown in Hardin County.
The Elizabethtown Police Department had been looking for 29-year-old Charles Roberson Jr., of Elizabethtown, since Monday. They had issued a warrant for his arrest. Roberson is facing charges of murder and wanton endangerment.
The police responded to Sunday’s homicide shortly after 11:00 p.m. in response to a report of multiple shots fired.
When they arrived, they found a man lying on the ground in a parking lot in the area. The man was identified as 20-year-old Xedric McNeil, of Elizabethtown, according to the Elizabethtown Police Department. McNeil was later pronounced dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
