BRECKINRIDGE CO., Ky. (WHAS11) – A 14-year-old is facing a murder charge in Breckinridge County after his 17-year-old half-sister was found deceased in bed.
According to a Breckinridge County sheriff, the 17-year-old was stabbed to death at her home on Lee Miller Road. Police were called to the scene early on Thursday morning.
Police said the 14-year-old confessed when they arrived at the scene.
The sheriff could not identify a motive for the deadly stabbing at this time.
The 14-year-old is in custody at the Warren County Juvenile Detention Center.
