2nd Street Bridge reopen following multi-vehicle crash

Police shut down the 2nd Street Bridge after a crash involving at least four cars.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Three people are being transported to the hospital after a multi-vehicle crash on the 2nd Street Bridge Wednesday afternoon.

MetroSafe confirmed that the bridge is reopen following clean-up.

MetroSafe confirmed a call came in at around 4 p.m. Drone footage provided by Donnie Yeoman Jr. shows five cars involved in the crash. One of the cars was pushed onto the sidewalk. Police have blocked off the bridge at this time.

All of the people injured are being transported by Indiana EMS. None of the injuries appear to be serious at this time.
