INDIANA (WHAS11) -- Horseshoe Southern Indiana Casino is now a Caesars casino!
It will be re-branded as Caesars Southern Indiana and will soon offer a sportsbook for on-site sports betting.
At the announcement on Wednesday morning, the company talked about the addition of new gaming facilities, increased amenities and new restaurants.
It comes out to an $85 million project.
Horseshoe Southern Indiana will continue to operate as normal during the renovation.
Officials expect the Caesars Southern Indiana land-based casino to open this December with the restaurants and other amenities ready by early 2020.
